Watery Wisdom

Water.

It’s formless.

When it fills a cup, it becomes the cup.

When it fills a bath, it becomes the bath.

When it fills a bottle, it becomes the bottle.

It’s powerful.

Think of sea waves crashing on the beach.

Think of sea storms.

Think of floods.

​

It’s cleansing.

​

We use it to clean our food.

We use it to clean our body.

We use it to clean our dishes.

​

It’s transparent.

​

Perfectly clear.

Invisible to our eyes.

Hiding in plain sight.
​

It’s reflective.

Always reflecting without judgment.

Always showing the truth.

Always a perfect mirror.

​

It’s 31% of our bones.

It's 64% of our skin.

It’s 71% of our planet.

It’s 73% of our brain.

It’s 79% of our muscles

It's 83% of our lungs.

​

All animals need water to survive.

All plants need water to survive.

No exception.

​

It contains timeless wisdom.

​

If water is moving, it is healthy.

If water is still, it stagnates.

Too much of it can be deadly.

Too little of it can be deadly.

It has to be a balance.

​

To me, water seems close to God.

Inside each of us there is water.

Inside each of us, is also a piece of God.

​

I am keen to keep receiving wisdom from water.

It is truly a powerful phenomena.
